Update Regarding Fat Jon

As you may have seen on our social media, Fat Jon has had to reschedule his appearance at Otakon this year due to an unavoidable personal circumstance.
He has expressed his profound gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of Otakon, and looks forward to joining us in 2020.

Lyra's Ball: Friday evening's formal event for all ages! Prepare for an evening of cosplay, music, and dancing.
Portable Kaiju Super Battle League: In its fourth year, join our Pokemon tournmanet and battle our gym leaders as you travel around the con!
Hiro's Lounge: A full day of dance lessons and live music featuring lessons on East Coast Swing, the Shim Sham, and the Charleston! Starting at 6pm, the room will become 18+ and the bar will be open.
Otakon Makerspace: Do you enjoy hands-on crafts but don't have much time in your busy convention weekend to attend a full-length workshop? Stop by the brand-new Otakon Makerspace, founded and hosted by presenters Bumble & Clove!
Lip Sync for your Cosplay Jez Roth returns to host this popular event, but you better be ready to WERK IT!

Ryoma Ebata, is the character designer and director of key animation for the anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”. For most of his career, he has worked as an animator, designer, as well as a Unit Director. The first time he was in charge of Character Designs was with “Busou Shinki”.

Atsushi Nakayama is Assistant Director for the Winter 2019 TV Anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”. He was Unit Director on “Knight's & Magic” and other shows, as well as Director of Photography for “Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan”, “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS”, and others.

Chikahiro Kobayashi, born September 5, is active in a wide range of fields, mainly in the voice acting industry. His roles include Ranga in “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”. His other main roles include Saichi Sugimoto from "Golden Kamuy", Toby Selwyn from "Violet Evergarden", and Shirasakaki from "Mushibugyo".
